Academy – Terms & Conditions
General Information
- All students must provide accurate contact details including full name, address, telephone number and email address to secure a course booking.
- All personal information is treated as confidential and stored in accordance with UK Data Protection legislation and GDPR.
- Student information may be shared where necessary with:
- accreditation bodies,
- insurers,
- awarding organisations,
- regulatory authorities where required.
- Students may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Course Booking & Payments
- Course places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A course booking is confirmed only once payment or deposit has been received.
- All deposits and booking payments are strictly non-refundable in all circumstances.
- Remaining balances must be paid within the timeframe stated at booking.
- Failure to pay balances may result in cancellation of the training place and loss of deposit.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission where payment terms are not met.
Finance Options
Finance may be offered on selected courses where applicable.
- All finance applications are subject to approval by an external finance provider.
- All finance agreements are subject to a 5% document processing administration fee payable to Nuovo Clinic.
- The administration fee is non-refundable once finance documentation has been processed.
- Finance approval is subject to third-party lender criteria and is not guaranteed.
- Entering into a finance agreement constitutes commitment to the course regardless of attendance.
Cancellations, Amendments & Transfers
- All training courses are completely non-refundable.
- Deposits and payments cannot be refunded under any circumstances including:
- illness,
- personal circumstances,
- travel disruption,
- change of career plans,
- inability to obtain insurance,
- failure to meet entry requirements.
Course Date Transfers
- Course transfers may be granted at the discretion of the Academy only.
- Transfer requests must be made in writing.
- Failure to attend a booked course will result in full loss of payment.
Academy Cancellation or Rescheduling
We reserve the right to:
- reschedule training dates,
- change trainers,
- adjust course structure where necessary.
In the unlikely event that a course is cancelled by the Academy, students will be offered an alternative training date.
Liability is limited strictly to course fees paid.
Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy are not responsible for travel, accommodation, loss of earnings or any associated costs.
Entry Requirements & Student Responsibility
Students must ensure they meet all course prerequisites prior to booking.
It is the student’s responsibility to confirm:
- eligibility for training,
- eligibility for professional insurance,
- suitability within their professional scope of practice.
Upon arrival, students must present:
- photographic identification,
- proof of qualifications where required.
Failure to provide documentation will result in refusal of training without refund.
Completion of training does not guarantee:
- certification acceptance,
- competence,
- professional recognition,
- employment,
- insurance approval,
- business success.
Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy shall not be liable where a student is unable to obtain insurance or practise following training.
Training Standards & Competency
Training provides education, supervised practical experience and guidance.
Certification confirms attendance and completion of training only.
Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy cannot guarantee skill level, speed of learning or clinical competence following training.
Students remain responsible for:
- practising safely,
- working within professional limits,
- obtaining appropriate insurance,
- undertaking further supervised practice where required.
Practical Training & Models
- The Academy may provide models for training purposes.
- For some courses, students may be required to provide their own models.
- Models may be charged a reduced treatment fee.
Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy cannot guarantee:
- model availability,
- specific treatment outcomes during training.
Treatments performed during training are educational procedures carried out under supervision.
Health, Safety & Professional Conduct
Students must behave professionally at all times.
Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy reserve the right to remove any student from training without refund where behaviour is deemed:
- unsafe,
- disruptive,
- aggressive,
- unprofessional,
- discriminatory,
- or where a student is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Student safety and model safety take priority at all times.
Results & Clinical Outcomes
Training treatments involve live models and real procedures.
Students acknowledge:
- complications can occur during training,
- outcomes may vary,
- training environments differ from experienced clinical practice.
Nuovo Clinic, Nuovo Clinic Academy and its trainers accept no liability for outcomes arising from student-performed procedures during or after training.
Post-Training Responsibility
Following completion of training, all clinical responsibility transfers fully to the student.
Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy are not responsible for:
- treatments performed after training,
- business decisions made by students,
- insurance acceptance or refusal,
- patient outcomes in student practice.
Students agree to practise only within their competence and professional scope.
Refund Policy
All course fees, deposits, finance administration fees, digital materials, manuals and training services are strictly non-refundable.
Fees cover:
- educational delivery,
- trainer expertise,
- course materials,
- supervision,
- certification.
Dissatisfaction, change of circumstances or perceived lack of confidence following training does not constitute grounds for refund.
Intellectual Property
All Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy training materials remain the intellectual property of Nuovo Clinic.
No part of any course material may be:
- copied,
- reproduced,
- recorded,
- distributed,
- shared,
- taught to others,
without prior written permission.
Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
Photography, Video & Marketing Consent
Photographs and videos may be taken during training for:
- education,
- quality assurance,
- marketing and promotional purposes.
By attending training, students consent to such use unless written withdrawal is provided prior to course commencement.
All media remains the property of Nuovo Clinic.
Complaints
Concerns should be raised promptly with Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy.
A copy of the Complaints Policy is available upon request.
Where resolution cannot be achieved internally, matters may be referred to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, costs or expenses arising directly or indirectly from attendance at training or subsequent professional practice.
Nothing within these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights.
Statement of Agreement
By booking a course, students confirm that they:
- have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions,
- understand training does not guarantee competence or insurance,
- understand that though complications are uncommon, they do sometimes occur during training,
- have provided accurate information regarding qualifications,
- accept full responsibility for practice following training,
- understand all payments and deposits are non-refundable.
Amendments
Nuovo Clinic & Nuovo Clinic Academy reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always apply.
