Lesions can appear in any area of the body, however most appear on visible areas, such as the face, neck and hands. Some lesions are deeper or more persistent than others and may require further treatments to achieve the best results.
When Plasma Fibroblast is used, the area will form small crusts after the treatment, therefore it is very important to follow the aftercare advice given by your practitioner.
How Does Lesion Removal Work?
Either CryoPen or Plasma Fibroblast can be used for the removal of your skin lesion. Both are applied directly to the skin lesion and the area of skin will then heal naturally, with the unwanted lesion having fallen off or been removed completely.
There are many benefits to lesion removal treatment, which includes:

CryoPen has minimal downtime as opposed to Plasma Fibroblast, which creates small crusts on the skin that need to be left alone until the skin has fully healed.
Some lesions can require more than one treatment to fully remove them, however most can be treated in one appointment.
You may feel a brief cold, stinging, prickling or warming sensation. Your practitioner will explain each stage and keep the treatment controlled and precise.
As with any treatment, there are temporary side effects and rare cases of more permanent damage, but this can be avoided by following aftercare and ensuring the practitioner is using the treatment correctly for your skin type and the size and type of lesion you have.
The area should be kept clean but blisters or crusts must not be picked or removed. The skin must be kept away from other sources of irritation and exposure to the sun until fully healed. Full aftercare advice will be given to you by your practitioner.
