What you’ll learn:
The Fast Track to Aesthetics course is ideal for complete beginners, offering a comprehensive and structured route into the world of aesthetics. This course combines both theoretical and practical components, totalling approximately 180 hours of CPD-accredited training to fully prepare students for a career in aesthetic practice.
- Anatomy and Physiology (Levels 3 & 4): Gain a foundational understanding of the body’s systems—including circulatory, respiratory, musculoskeletal, integumentary, lymphatic, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, nervous, and olfactory systems—critical for safe aesthetic practice.
- Infection Control: Learn essential hygiene practices and sterilisation protocols to ensure a safe working environment and prevent cross-contamination.
- Safety in Medicine: Understand medical ethics, patient confidentiality, treatment contraindications, and emergency procedures to maintain client safety.
- First Aid: Receive training in basic life support and emergency response to manage on-site incidents effectively.
- Client Consultation: Master the skills needed to perform professional consultations and identify contraindications before treatment.
- Complications Management: Be equipped with strategies to manage and prevent complications that may arise during aesthetic treatments.
- Microneedling: Learn techniques that stimulate collagen production and enhance skin rejuvenation through controlled micro-injuries.
- Dermaplaning: Develop practical skills in this exfoliating technique to remove dead skin and vellus hair for a smoother complexion.
- Chemical Peels: Apply chemical solutions to rejuvenate skin texture and tone effectively and safely.
- Foundation Anti-Wrinkle Injections: Gain hands-on experience administering botulinum toxin in the three main areas—forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines.
- Foundation Dermal Fillers: Learn foundational filler techniques for lips, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines, including safe filler dissolving using hyaluronidase.

Prerequisites for this course
At least one prerequisite is required:
- GCSE English, Maths, and Science at grade C or above
- Equivalent BTECs, Cambridge Certificate, or Pearson Certificate
- NVQ Level 3 in beauty therapy
- Qualified Medic
